Sleep

Sad and tired on imgfave

I'm really tired. I haven't slept in a while. I've been staying up and reading the past few days. I've been drawing a lot too. I know it makes me really tired, but it's sort of been helping me clear my head and calm down. Plus I've been too scared and upset to really sleep anyway. But now after being awake for so long, I want to lay in my bed and sleep forever. I've felt pretty sick lately, although I don't know why. I've been having to take my medicine for my headaches almost every day, sometimes more than once. Everyone keeps asking me if I'm okay. I just keep saying i'm tired even though that's really only part of whats wrong. It's almost like I'm losing everyone. It seems like all my friends are sick, dying, or dead. Some of them aren't even sick, they're just very sad and I know there isn't much I can do to help them.

The Books Have Eyes

Leather Bound Books on Pinterest
I was walking home one night, and decided to take a shortcut through an alley. I had never had any trouble before walking in the alley, as sinister as it looked. Yet today, i looked up to see a young man walking toward me. He looked about my age, so I thought nothing of it. Perhaps I went to school with him and just failed to recognize his face. Thought, as I walked closer, he seemed to slow down. He stopped directly in front of me, blocking my path out of the alley. He reached into his jacket. Of course, being alone, it scared me. He pulled out a book. It was fairly large, bound in leather with a strange glass eye on the front. He handed it to me and said, "Here. I believe this is yours."
Thinking there must have been a mistake, I tried to give it back, but he insisted I take it and read it. I walked the rest of the way home. For days, the book lie on my desk. FInally, I was compelled to read it. I read and slowly realized it was my life. When I got to this day, I noticed something. There were only 10 blank pages left.

The Great Cheese It War

So we aren't allowed to have Cheese Its in the cafeteria anymore and it's my fault. It started with me just throwing one at my friend, just playing around. We had all gotten a bag of them for lunch. He threw one back. Slowly, our entire table noticed this, and began throwing cheese its at each other. Which, considering us, wasn't the worst thing to do. But... the fighting escalated. Soon almost everyone at around us were violently attacking each other with them. it looked like it was raining! there were bits and pieces of the cracker that had exploded in the midst of battle. It turned into a war. soon, the lunch workers noticed the havoc that was going on outside their small kitchen. They came out using trays as shields, trying not to be pelted by the flying cheese its. It took all the lunch workers, as well as the teachers and staff, to calm the students and fighting. It took us over an hour to clean it all up.

The Fault In Our Stars

THE FAULT IN OUR STARS RUINED MY LIFE. Yes, I read the book and watched the movie way before this time, but someone started to sing a song from the movie and I'm just like no. That's not okay. No. I mean yeah, it's an amazing book, I love John Green, but HOW DARE YOU DO THAT TO ME. You cannot simply kill someone like that. Not someone that perfect. I'm really not sure why he did it, and even after the book was published he was interviewed and said that he strongly regretted killing him. (Sorry I keep saying "him" instead of a name, I don't know if you've read the book yet.) It's one of my favorite books none the less.

This Age

Public School | Children are a Blessing
How absolutely horrible it was. I mean yeah, there are some good things, but everyone is just so mean and everything is just wrong. Its a time when you HATE people, which is understandable. It's full of drama and completely irrelevant things that make no sense and confuse and hurt people. Your friends are all getting in fights, practically everyone is depressed and extremely self conscious, and thats just the start. This isnt as bad as life gets, school will get harder, so will the world, and so will peoples' cold little hearts. I wish i could get back to like 2006 when I came home from 1st grade and grabbed a granola bar and watched That's So Raven without hating myself. But sadly, I cannot time travel (yet) and that is an impossible possibility.Right now i just want to sleep through the next four and 3/4 years of my life and pretend high school and middle school never happened.

They Stole My Blood

Montana Considers THC Blood Test Legislation
I had to go to the hospital yesterday. I hate hospitals. (well the modern ones anyway abandoned wards are amazing) But anyway they stole my blood. They took 2 vials of it for testing. I'm supposed to get my results today. I had to get my blood tested because the doctors think I may have some sort of deficiency in my blood that's causing me head aches constantly.  I have some prescription pills to take for them now, and on Monday I have to get my eyes tested to see if that is whats causing the problem. (I might have to get glasses ugh.) and if my new pills won't take the headaches away then I'll have to be put on something stronger and have to take them every day. My arm hurts. So does my head. I'm really tired. I just wanna go home and lay on the floor. But it's only 2nd hour. Ugh.

All About Me

Sand Runes

Band of Runes (Texture)
The sand runes glowed all night. They were beautiful, but I didn't dare touch them. I feared that the curse of the runes could travel through me to my family. I was horrified that they could be hurt. The runes appeared on each red moon. Long ago when I had first sailed to these lands, Calypso had put a curse onto me. She said that I was to sacrifice the blood of an innocent each night the runes appeared on my shores. If I failed to make that sacrifice to her, my family would take my curse upon them, and they would be in danger alongside the innocents we couldn't spare. They didn't know about my curse, for if they did they would disown and banish me to the sea, fearing the monster that I have become. I am a killer of innocents, but no one knew. No one knew that the missing innocents were my doing, the bodies found in shallow graves or floating along the shore were slain by my hands. On this night, the runes had glowed brighter than ever, eagerly glowing, as if hungry for the blood and power. And I didn't make a sacrifice.

9/11 terrorists

Untitled

Well the 9/11 terrorists attacks were horrible, on our part and theirs. To us, it was a major threat and tragedy. To the, well come on guys why would you bomb us? I know we fought wars with you but any other country would at least give us a heads up. And you took down our planes with it, along with the twin towers. there were innocent people on those planes. What if we did that to your country, your families? I think that it was a huge mistake. And during the attacks, I saw something that amazed me. There was a picture taken while the towers were burning and falling. The picture was of 2 people jumping out of the building holding hands. You couldn't tell who they were, if they new each other, or if they were just a couple strangers needing comfort in death. That is humanity, and that day, terrorists took some humanity away from us, and took the humanity out of their country's name.

I'm Tired

snsgfx |
I'm just really really tired and I'm already done with today. My mouth hurts because I went to the orthodontist last night and they out 3 new (unnecessary) brackets on and they're cutting the inside of my mouth. My step mom might have breast cancer, and my grandpa does have cancer and NO ONE TOLD ME so that sucks. I just want to go home and sleep and not do anything for a few days. Or weeks. Or months. Or years. Or forever. so yeah I really don't have anything else to write about. I have a bug bite on my arm that is itchy right now and the band aid on my ankle fell off and my shoe is cutting my foot again.

Children

Shining on Pinterest | 42 Pins

If I ever have children I will never try to eat them, because that is wrong. I will also never hit them or anything like that. I'll never disown them or stop accepting them for who they are and what they chose to be. I'll never tell them they can't dress a certain way or like a certain thing. Parents really seem to have a hard time accepting their kids and letting them be themselves. I don't want to be like that. When I have kids, I'll never stop loving them, and never tell them I hate them, because you never know when you'll see someone for the last time. I don't want my last time seeing them to end with goodbye, so I'm never saying it.

This Weekend

I'm really not 100% sure what I'm doing this weekend but I don't have anything else to write about so... Anyway As far as I know my friends Bailey and Sage are coming over tonight and then tomorrow we're going to Six Flags. After that we'll probably spend the night with Bailey but we haven't figured out all the details yet. I don't know anything else I'll be doing, but because we have a 4 day weekend I should be able to figure something out. I don't feel very good anyway so it probably won't be much, most likely just sleeping and playing video games.

Summer

We only have 3.5 days left of school until summer. I am so glad, but I really want to see my friends over the summer and I only get to see a couple. I can't wait until summer because I am tired of homework. Not every teacher gives homework a lot at the end of the year, but the ones that do, give a lot. I am really exited about this summer because I might get my braces off. I am also exited about this summer because I'm going to Florida for vacation. I also want to have fun with my friends. I really want to have a good time with my friends and family this summer.

Something that really bugs me

Something that really bugs me is when people talk bad about you behind your back. To me, I think that is bullying. Like when you make a mistake, they judge you about it. I hate when people do that. Even when they start a rumor about you and it's not even true, that makes me mad too. They need to understand that they are bullying.  In my opinion, I think that they should mind their own business, and they should leave people alone.

City Muesum

This past Tuesday, the people that made their AR goals three times this year got to go on a field trip to the City Museum in St. Louis. I went and we had a lot of fun. We got put into different groups and I got put into a group with some of my friends, so I was glad. There was a time at the City Museum that I got bored but then I went to another spot and had fun. Not all of my friends went on this trip, but I hope they get to go next year. I think that we should go there again as a regular field trip so that everyone has a chance to go.

Kid Nation #7

Deviant- Jared acted as a deviant when he pushed all of the food from the snack bar. He was mad at the girl that made the snack bar because he tried to start his own snack bar after the girl started her own and no one would come to his because the city already had one. He is now very sorry that he dumped the stand over. The girl is very forgiving and is not bad at Jared anymore. She was just trying to make some more money.

Deviance- Greg is being very rude to Nathan. Nathan was just trying to help with the dishes and Greg was being rude and yelling at him. Greg also likes to make trouble with the other kids too. He thinks that he is the main boss of the town. He isn't being nice to anyone who is just trying to help.

Stigma- Divad is helping in the kitchen and she does the potatoes. Greg and some of the other kids call her potato girl. She knows of the name but she just wants to help the town.I think that she doesn't care what the other kids call her. She said that she will do what ever she can to help the town out. She said that she wants to be called the kind potato girl.

Kid Nation #6

Formal Organization- The town council has formal organization. They are the government for the kid nation town. They have to meet the towns goals. They also have to solve problems within the town. They have to think with each other and with the kids in the town to help solve the problems with each other.

Social Exchange- The kid nation kids try to do their best in the town to get the gold star at the end of the week. The town council has to watch everyone to see who should get the gold star. The kid that works the hardest and does a great job in the town gets the gold star. The gold star is worth two thousand dollars. The kids work hard all week the try to receive the gold star.

Rationalization- The town council has to plan about what they are going to do to help the town. They also have to plan who will get the gold star. They might also have to plan with each other what reward to choose if they get the reward from the competition. They have to make their decisions together. They have to choose what decision is right for the town.

Kid Nation #5

Group- The kid nation kids were put into groups to compete against each other. There are four groups, red, blue, green, and yellow. The groups compete against each other to get different positions in the kid nation town. The groups can get upper class, merchants, cooks, and laborers. Their groups stay the same, but their jobs can change based on what place they get in the competition.

Social Category- The groups of kids in the kid nation town each have their own social category. The groups can be upper class, merchants, cooks, and laborers. They have competitions to decide what their groups social category will be. The groups all want to get upper class to get paid more than the there groups. The yellow group got the upper class in this episode.

Group Boundary- Each group member in each group got a colored bandanna. The color of the bandanna is the color of their group (red, yellow, green, and blue). They help the group members know who is on their team. Some of the team members wear their bandannas on their heads as a headband. Other members wear their bandannas as a bracelet or other clothing item.

Kid Nation #4

Social Interaction: Some of these kids on kid nation have relationships with each other like friendship. Other relationships are like religions, jobs, and even groups. The town council has to have a social interaction to communicate with each other and make decisions together. Other kids have bad relationships with each other because of their religion. Most of the kids there have friendships with each other.

Ascribed Status: The kids have been assigned into groups. The groups where chosen into their jobs instead of choosing their jobs. The kids were assigned into their jobs by their place in the competition. They are now going to be placed into jobs and classes again after the competition. They are working hard to get the upper class status.

Achieved Status: The kids are trying to achieve to the status of the upper class. They also want to get the gold star at the end of the week. The blue team is now the upper class and that is what they were looking forward to winning in the competition. The other groups are trying to get the other places and not get the last place that gets the least amount of money. If every group finishes then everyone gets a reward for the town and they did, and they chose the bibles because of their achievements.

Poorest President

The poorest president in the world has a salary of $12,500 and he donates 90% of that to charity. I think that he is very nice by doing that and helping other people by donating. His salary is low but but he is still donating his money. He doesn't even make a lot of money for a president and he still wants to help other people. If I saw this man I would congratulate him on his niceness. I think that everyone should be as nice as this man.

My Weekend

This past weekend was very special. We had a five day weekend from school. Since this weekend was Easter weekend, I went to church. I went to church on Friday and Sunday. We were off from Thursday to Monday. On Thursday, I stayed home and basically did nothing. On Friday, I went to the mall with my mom and went to church that night. On Saturday, I slept in, relaxed, and even made cookies. On Easter Sunday, I went to church, had an Easter lunch/dinner, and spent time with my family. On Monday, I basically did nothing again all day. For me, I had a very relaxing five day weekend.

Kid Nation #3

Desocialization- The kids have to give up values from their homes to be in kid nation. They had to give up t.v. and even cell phones. They now have to live in the conditions of kid nation. They also have to have a new behavior for the t.v. show. They will have to learn to be nice to the other kids on the show.

Self-Concept- Greg is seeing himself as being the oldest kid there. He thinks that he can do what he wants to do. He is acting like he is the boss of everyone in kid nation. He is even cussing at the kids to get them to stop talking to him. The town council is also trying to tell him to be nicer to the other kids.

Game Stage- The kids in kid nation have to play a game to find out what their place is in the town. They have to guess what the other teams will end up doing in the game stage. They need to think and figure out what to do in the game to win and beat the other teams. They have to communicate with their teams to win. The kids have to figure out what the other teams will do to win.

Kid Nation #2

Counter- Culture: The kids that want the chickens to live are considered in  a counter- culture. They think that it is wrong to kill the chickens for dinner and eat them. They are against the councils decision of killing the chickens. One of the girls that wanted to not kill the chickens ended up running away when they were killing the chickens.

Values: The chickens in the town are considered values, fresh meat. They have other values like cooking material too. They needed fresh meat to survive so they had to find more values in the town. They had a problem with the water pump in the town too so that was one of their values that was disabled but they ended up fixing the water pump to have more water.

Formal Sanctions: The kids have a challenge to receive rewards or formal sanctions. One of their rewards is a water slide. Other rewards are positions in the towns like upper class, cooks, etc. The first group to finish got the most money and the others, going down in order, get less money. If every group finishes on time, the whole town gets a reward but this challenge didn't finish on time, so they didn't get a reward.

My Weekend

This past weekend, I was a my best friends birthday party and had a lot of fun. She invited some of my closest friends too so we were all crazy. Their were seven of us in total so we were really loud. We went to see the movie "Divergant" and had a lot of fun. I think we had way to much candy because we didn't go to bed until 1:00 in the morning. We were all pretty tired the next day, and I really needed more sleep than I did the next night. I wish we could have a sleepover like that every weekend.

Perspective is an individuals point of view that is effected by experiences. The kids in the town all have different perspectives on what they need to do in the town to survive. The town council might need to have the same perspectives to choose a kid to get the gold star.
Capitalists are the people that own the means to produce wealth. These people are the town council in the Kid Nation town. The town council gets to decide who goes in which group and they get to decide who does what in the town.
Social Structure is the patterned interactions of people in social relationships. I think that the people in each group need to have social structure to be able to stay together. The town council also needs to have social structure to pick the person for the gold star.
Class Conflict is the struggle between people of different classes. An example would be when Kid Nation has the competition. The four teams had to compete against each other to find there jobs and workplaces. When the Kid Nation kids have a town meeting, the kids have some conflict with each other too.

Dear Mrs. DeBolt,

Here are some fun facts about me. I love to swim, dance, and listen to music. I'm am only child. I have three cats. I am really good at math; I'm in Pre-Algebra. My favorite hobbie is probably spending time with my friends. My favorite food is Mac and Cheese or Pizza. I love to go to Florida for vacations in summer.
In my free time I like to listen to music or play games on my phone. My favorite subjects this year were Art, FACS, and hopefully Technology. I do plan on taking this class next year too for a semester class. So far, this class has been great and not what I thought it would be like. The subjects that I didn't like this year were Math and Writing. Sometimes those classes are confusing.
I do have some experience with typing and technology. I did have to present a PowerPoint in Cultural Explorations last quarter, and had to edit and type essays in Writing. I do enjoy blogging and doing timed  typing tests to help improve my typing skills. I do hope that I will learn more about computers and technology this quarter from you and use it all my life.
                                                                                                                        Sincerely,

Violent Video Games

I do believe that certain video games are making kids more violent because of all the blood, weapons, etc. When kids see that in the games that they play, they might feel that it is okay to do that in real life. In my opinion, I think that they should not have that type of things in video games to begin with. There are a lot of video games that have violence in them and the kids see it more and more every day and will continue to if they make more violent games for kids. Eventually when the kids get older, they might think it is okay to do those things and get in big trouble for it.

Kid Nation

We are watching a show to were these kids are going to try to remake a town. the oldest kid just turned 15 and the youngest just turned 8. They have a town council and they are in charge. Now they have to bring a wagon a couple miles down a fence line to another town. They are handling goats. Every week the student council will pick a favorite kid that gets a "gold" star. They cant tell anybody about the star because they don't want to cause any trouble. They are now pulling wagons across this road to this different town. When they get there, there is nothing in the town. They found a couple of thin mattresses that they have to sleep on. The leaders are turning to get every in order. Now they are trying to make dinner. They tried to make mac and cheese but that didn't work, so they dumped it out and actually went by the recipe. They are were very nervous about their food because it wasn't cooking. Now the youngest leader is having a tough time getting settled in. One of the kids are thinking of quitting and one of the leaders is really stressed out and disappointed. Now its day 2 and they are starting to cook breakfast. All of the kids are very hungry and some didn't get any food. A lot of kids are arguing an upset. Now the kids are thinking that the leaders need to get some order. During the meeting Mike was getting up in one of the leaders face. Michael got up and told the kids about the bigger picture. Mike and the leader had a talk about what happened at the meeting and they are still mad at each other.
They kids are now making 4 distracts and picked the kids into their distracts. They all got settled in and they found Jimmy crying because he feels left out. The leaders are trying to make the kids feel the best at home. The blue team has written on some of the signs with chalk. Some of the kids think that the older kids have done it.
They are trying to figure out who will clean the toilet. All of the kids are in a meeting with the head guy and he is talking about all of the jobs and stores. He is also telling them about the chore money and stuff. They are going to have a show-done to see who will get  the upper class. The Red distract won the upper class and the Blue won 2nd place. The Yellow distracts won 3rd place and the Green distract got last place. The whole team won the full reward because they finished the full game under an hour. They have choices of what they can choose; 7 out-house or a TV. It's something they want or something they need. They are trying to decide what to do. They picked the 7 out-houses. Now they are assigning jobs and doing their jobs. The Yellow teams breakfast was amazing. The blue team has all of the stores. The Red team passed out all of the money. All of the kids are going into the candy store and every other store. The blue team opened the stores. All of the Red team are spending their money. One of the Green team just bought a old fashion bike. She only had 10 cents so she danced to get some of the money. Jimmy is thinking of leaving so the boys are trying to convince him to stay.
Now the leaders are and the council are at a their first Town Hall meeting. Some of the kids are speaking out and trying to make everything better. The main guy is asking if anybody wants to leave to go back home. Jimmy raised his hand, and he really wants to go home. All of the kids tired to convince him to stay but he really didn't want to stay. All of the kids didn't want him to leave.
The council is about to give out the gold star. The council picked Sophia who is on the Green team. She really is happy about this and she feels good. The main guy says that the gold star is supposed to be $20,000. Now Sophia is allowed to call her parents and tell them about what has happened. Sophia told her mother that she won the $20,000. She was really excited.
The council is getting everything in order and are having a lot of fun now. The kids are excited that they stayed. The kids are having a lot of fun.

Basketball Game

Picture From Here
Last night I went to a high school girls basketball game at Jeffco. All of my friends were there but I couldn't sit by them because I was with my cousins and they didn't want me to leave. The game was amazing. I was so stressed out. I wanted them to win so bad. They lost 49 to 45. One of the girls on the other team was like 6'2! She was really tall and towered k over everybody. My meme and my papa took me to the game. We met my uncle and 2 cousins there. we had a lot of  fun at the game. Their season is over now that they lost against Battle. It sucks losing a game.

Something That Bugs Me

Picture From Here
Something that bugs me is mouth noises, annoying people, and pen tapping. I hate it when people do mouth noises. They click their tongue or chew gum with their mouth open. Annoying people get on my nerves . I just want to scream shut up in their face. When people pen tap they think they are cool because they can make noises with a pen. They pen tap when the teacher is talking too. Its so annoying.

Disney World

Picture From Here
Next summer I might be going to Disney World. I cant wait because we went one year but it was really hot and they have a lot more now than when we went. I am going to ask my mom and dad if we are for sure going and then I'm going to get us flights, find hotels, and plan what worlds we will go to on certain days. I would like to plan what we would do at those different parks. I love planning out stuff like this. I need to know what we will do on that certain day, what we would ride, how to get there, and just stuff like that.

Special or not

Picture From Here
I think that the U.S. is right. If everybody is normal then how will you tell people apart and if you love somebody then you could also be loving your neighbor. It would be the same thing. I think that you can be special but different kids of special. If we were all the same kid of special then it would be actually what the Europeans are saying. You can be whatever you want however you want. I think that the world wouldn't be very exciting if the whole world was the same and nobody was special. Special doesn't have to mean brain wise. It can mean like your personality and your characteristics. Always be unique.

Miss June

Picture From Here
The other day one of our lunch ladies had a stroke. It is very sad about what happened. Today, in C.A. we had a choice of writing a letter to her or writing a poem. I chose to write a letter to her but I wanted to write a poem too. I asked Mrs. Ganey if I could write a poem to Miss. June. She said that would be great and  she would love it. Right now I am working on the poem and I think that I almost have it. I'm going to show Mrs. Ganey today in PAWS. I think I have a little more work to do on it but I am almost done. I hope she likes it.

Neverland

Picture From Here
If I could choose between seven identical doors. I would choose the one with a choose of Neverland. I chose Neverland because I really want to meet Peter Pan, Wendy, Peter Pans friends, Tinkerbelle,  and Wendy's brothers. I used to and still watch Peter Pan. If I were there, I would Fly with all of them and tease the Capitan Hook, the pirate that hates Peter Pan. After we see the pirate, we would go back to Peter Pans tree house and hang out with his brothers. We would have a lot of fun and I would love it.

Something that I will not forget about this  age is the big change. There was a huge difference between 6th grade and 7th grade. There is much higher expectations, the classes, and all of the different activities. The adults may have forgotten because maybe their school didn't have such a big change. If they did then they forgot because they have gone through a lot since middle school so they don't have as much memory anymore. I think another thing is that everybody splits into groups, the athletic, the smart, the cheerleaders, and so on. They might not have but the adults have probably forgotten.

Kansas City Water Slide

Picture From Here

Kansas City Verrückt water slide is so tall that it is taller than the Statue of Liberty. The makers are not going to reveal the exact height until opening day. This slide will open on May 23rd. The markers are trying to brake the Guinness World Record. Each structure is at least 17stroies tall. To get to the top of this slide you have to climb 264 steps. Once up at the top, the three riders will be seated in a four person inflatable raft. The markers are also not announcing how fast the riders will free-fall. They say that you free-fall faster than 65 mph. The Verrückt will open on May 23rd.

  • Today, I have an extensive amount of time to work on my technology project.
  • My mom screamed as we were hurtling toward the ground because we were on the tallest roller coaster in the world.
  • The lights in my house illuminate the hallways so we an see at night.
  • When I was mulling around my house I found an antique clock that was my great, great, great grandfathers.
  • When I was propelled toward the ground , my mother was very worried.
  • This is going to have a radical experience.
  • I was very speculated during my math test.
  • The students surpassed their behavior yesterday.
  • My father welded together the water pipes that burst.

Micro Windmills

Picture From Here
Jung-Chih Chiao is a electrical engineering professor at the University of Texas in Arlington. Jung-Chih has invented a micro windmill that can power electrical devices. He claims that since they are so small that thousands can fit in your phone case comfortably. This micro windmills are so small that at their widest point they are 1.8 millimeters. Twenty micro windmills can fit on 2 pieces of rice. This windmill is made up of nickel alloy, so they can take strong gusts of wind and not break. They can produce the windmill very cheaply, so they can be used commercially viable. Chiao and another scientist are brainstorming with Taiwanese manufacturer WinMems Technologies Co., about getting the micro windmills out inn the market.

  • In my school, we are trying to harness the work of a businessman or businesswoman.
  • In technology, we are contemplating the use of blogger and blogging.
  • I think that it is very arduous to understand  the work of a electrical engineering professor.
  • I was very assert about my math test yesterday.
  • My Life Proof case is very durable because it is water-proof and shatter-proof.
  • The government gave Jung-Chih a patent for his micro windmill invention.
  • In science class we have to make a prototype of our science fair project.
  • This morning for breakfast I had two wafers.
  • My brothers windmill can withstand storms and strong winds
