Kid Nation #2

Counter- Culture: The kids that want the chickens to live are considered in  a counter- culture. They think that it is wrong to kill the chickens for dinner and eat them. They are against the councils decision of killing the chickens. One of the girls that wanted to not kill the chickens ended up running away when they were killing the chickens.

Values: The chickens in the town are considered values, fresh meat. They have other values like cooking material too. They needed fresh meat to survive so they had to find more values in the town. They had a problem with the water pump in the town too so that was one of their values that was disabled but they ended up fixing the water pump to have more water.

Formal Sanctions: The kids have a challenge to receive rewards or formal sanctions. One of their rewards is a water slide. Other rewards are positions in the towns like upper class, cooks, etc. The first group to finish got the most money and the others, going down in order, get less money. If every group finishes on time, the whole town gets a reward but this challenge didn't finish on time, so they didn't get a reward.
