Social Interaction: Some of these kids on kid nation have relationships with each other like friendship. Other relationships are like religions, jobs, and even groups. The town council has to have a social interaction to communicate with each other and make decisions together. Other kids have bad relationships with each other because of their religion. Most of the kids there have friendships with each other.
Ascribed Status: The kids have been assigned into groups. The groups where chosen into their jobs instead of choosing their jobs. The kids were assigned into their jobs by their place in the competition. They are now going to be placed into jobs and classes again after the competition. They are working hard to get the upper class status.
Achieved Status: The kids are trying to achieve to the status of the upper class. They also want to get the gold star at the end of the week. The blue team is now the upper class and that is what they were looking forward to winning in the competition. The other groups are trying to get the other places and not get the last place that gets the least amount of money. If every group finishes then everyone gets a reward for the town and they did, and they chose the bibles because of their achievements.
