The Blues finally started playing hockey again. I think they will do pretty good this year because they have already beat a few good teams and on the way to beat more. They have some good players on the team like T.J. Oshie, David Peron, and Andy McDonald. They have been some of the Blues top scorers this year they have a really good goaly to but I forgot his name and he is part of the reason why the Blues are starting to win more.

Breaking My Arm

Alright now here is how my memory goes. I was on my bike riding down a hill and I have done this stunt before so I was going down a hill and I was dong no hand, eyes closed, and on the pegs and the second my tire swirled I knew I was going down. So I fell and broke my arm and no one was home so I just sat there crying waiting for someone to come.

Super Bowl

This year its the Ravens vrs. 49ners. It should be a good game between these two. I am going for the Ravens this year because of Ray Rice, Michel Ore, and Ray Lewis. Its been really good games to lead up to the super bowl the Raven had to beat the Patriots and the Broncos. The 49ners had to beat Redskins and Falcons. Thats all I have for today.

Veterans Day Off

I think we should have Veterans Day off because its a day to spend with family members who were in war. I also dont think we should take off school because we could learn more about Veterans Day in school also, but we should be off school because I think Veterans Day is more important because people have been in war and killed but im not saying Martin Luther King day is not important.

More Money for Education or Athletes

Schools are paying more money for sports than education. I think schools should pay more attention to education because if your sports players are failing then they cant play that game. I think schools should pay more attention to education because what if players dont make it to the big leagues then what are they gonna do with there life. They cant just fail school and move on into the big league they have to pass school. Thats why I think they should pay more attention to school, also schools cant make it to any of the bowls with there top quarter back out or there top reciever out it would be kind of hard to do that.

Starting Baseball Practice

Well this week I am starting baseball up again. Last year I was on a travel team called the Prospects we did pretty good that season but i think the new team that im on is better. The team im on is called the Festus Tigers. My dad is the head coach so he will probably be the hardest on me. I usaully play shortstop and pitcher and I bat first.

Dear Mrs. DeBolt:

Hi, I am Alex Jacobs I play 4 sports hockey, baseball, basketball, and football. I was born August 13, 1999. I think I was born for playing sports because ever since I was one I loved throwing a ball. I never wanted to sit inside and do nothing my dad said all I ever wanted to do was go outside and play something.

I have been playing hockey for 8 years and baseball for 10 years. Ever since I was 7 I  have been on a travel team for baseball and hockey. This summer we traveled for baseball to Cooperstown, New York. We went to Niagra Falls on the way there and we got to see the baseball Hall of Fame.

I really dont have a relationship with computers because usually im outside doing something but when im on a computer I like looking for pictures of sporty things. I dont really like computers because if your looking for something and you cant find it gets me frusterated. I kinda like computers because I can do my homework on it. I dont like computers because it freezes on you alot.

Train Tracks

Train tracks are used for trains. Trains can be used for transporting things and people use it for transportating sometimes. Trains can be very dangarous when when you are walking tarin track though. People can get hit and cars can crash into them.

Today we have a basketball game facing Grandview. We have lost acouple games but today we should win. Coach only told us two players who are starting and that is Caleb Raye and Owen Horsley. He hasnt told us who the other starters are, he said he was going to think about it. We have lost 5 games in a row but coach said ever since he stopped shaving his beard we have lost so yesterday he shaved it for us.
